This page is for testing out facilities/utilities.
It’s best to put videos into Youtube or some other video playing service, and then use that URL. Here’s the Teaser Video which I uploaded to Youtube. When I uploaded it, I added subtitles which can be viewed when playing the video by clicking the CC button at the bottom of the player:
The above uses the standard WordPress Insert Video Object control. That does a basic embed video, and doesn’t let us control the size of the video window, nor the horizontal placement (left-middle-right). The only way to control that further would be to create a table and insert the video in the table (good for inserting a grid of videos).
Please note that you’ll see letterboxes left and right on this video, this was a pre-release version of the video. Exactly the same as the final video that will go on TRS Live, except this has black bars and the final video doesn’t.
Instead, I could use an iframe embed where I can control these things using a combination of html coding and adjusting the embed code from Youtube. Here’s the video using iframe and set to 1280×720 windows size:
